Hidden Signs Your Health Is Maybe In Danger

No matter how hard you try to live a healthier lifestyle, eating greens and fruits, or exercising regularly – you may still end up having some health issues  usually followed by specific signs.

As our health depends from many variables, you may have to pay close attention to these signs, because they may save your life.

Which signs are they?

1.Being Gassy

Usually, bloating or having extreme gas can be just because you have eaten food that’s causing it.

Digestive problems are often, but if this happens for a longer period of time, you should investigate if you have some food intolerance you are not aware of.

Most common reasons are:

  • Lactose intolerance
  • Irritable bowel syndrome
  • Colon cancer
  • Upper gastrointestinal disorders

Schedule a medical appointment and determine the cause – sooner the better.

2.Tiredness

Even if you do everything that is in your power to maintain your health, there are times you may experience constant tiredness.

Laziness, lethargy, low energy levels may be signs to force you toward your thyroid check up.

This was a case with me. I was experiencing all these symptoms, and I didn’t wait long before going to a doctor. It was established that I had hypothyroidism causing these side effects.

There are also many other reasons that might give you sluggishness and most common are:

  • Coeliac disease
  • Anemia
  • Chronic fatigue syndrome
  • Sleep apnea
  • Diabetes
  • Glandular fever
  • Depression
  • Restless legs
  • Anxiety

3.Excessive Snoring

Snoring is usually subject of making funny jokes, but it can be related to smaller or severe health issues. Maybe you have sleep apnea, or you have nasal congestion.

It is a common condition that can affect anyone, although it occurs more frequently in men and people who are overweight. And, it usually comes with age.

What health issues may cause snoring?

  • Long interruptions of breathing
  • Frequent waking from sleep
  • Light and low quality sleeping
  • Strain on the heart resulting from apnea
  • Low blood oxygen levels
  • Obesity
  • Chronic headaches
  • Fatigue

4.Insomnia

This usually occurs when your brain is overloaded with solving too many things during the day, and worrying everything to be done on time, whether it concerns your work or home obligations.

Lack of sleep can make you sleepy and grumpy, and it may affect your sex life, good memory, your looks and even make you being overweight.

What issues causes sleepiness?

  • Accidents
  • It will dumb you down
  • Make you prune to heart attack
  • Heart diseases
  • Heart failure
  • Irregular heartbeat
  • High blood pressure
  • Diabetes
  • Stroke
  • Low sex drive
  • Depression
  • Skin aging
  • Being foregetful
  • Overweight

Act on time and determine the root cause as soon as possible.

5.Bad Breath

Consuming certain foods like garlic and onions can surely give you bad breath. Even brushing and flossing sometimes, won’t be sufficient enough to take that bad breath away, but not coming from consuming foods. It can be present all the time even without any food taken.

What causes bad breath?

  • Food
  • Tobacco products
  • Poor dental hygiene
  • Dry mouth
  • Medications
  • Mouth infections
  • Metabolic syndrome

Determine yours if you have any, and try to solve the problem.

6.Regular Headaches

Headaches are usually pretty harmless.Weather changes may also cause changes in your blood pressure leading to headaches, and this is most often.

Most headaches aren’t the result of a serious illness, but some may result from a life-threatening conditions requiring emergency care.

Still, if you notice that your symptoms are becoming more regular, more severe and more persistent, you must see a health professional.

What causes headaches?

  • Alcohol (red wine mostly)
  • Processed foods
  • Changed sleep patterns
  • Poor body posture
  • Skipping meals
  • Stress
  • Acute sinusitis
  • Blood clot
  • Brain aneurysm
  • Brain tumor
  • Carbon monoxide poisoning
  • Concussion
  • Dehydration
  • Dental problems
  • Ear infection
  • Hangovers
  • High blood pressure
  • Glaucoma
  • Influenza
  • Meningitis
  • Stroke etc.

7.Muscle Cramps

Everyone suffers now and then from muscle cramps, but monitor how often you have them. Muscle cramps are often a sign of nutrient deficiencies.

Most muscle cramps develop in the leg muscles have sudden, sharp pain, and you might also feel, or see a hard lump of muscle tissue beneath your skin.

They usually disappear on their own and are rarely serious enough to require medical care.

However, see your doctor if your cramps:

  • Are associated with leg swelling, redness or skin changes
  • Cause severe discomfort
  • Are associated with muscle weakness
  • Don’t improve with self-care
  • Happen frequently
  • Aren’t associated with an obvious cause(strenuous exercise)
  • Inadequate blood supply
  • Nerve compression
  • Mineral insufficiency
  • Dehydration
  • Pregnancy

8.Allergies

Maybe you were prune to allergies since you were a little kid, but you may suffer from seasonal allergies as well that you shouldn’t ignore. 

Usually they are a sign that your immune system is being exposed to a level of inflammation that is not healthy, and are sign of bodily dysfunction.

What causes allergies?

  • Airborne allergies
  • Food allergies
  • Skin allergies
  • Dust allergies
  • Insect stings
  • Dog&Cat allergies
  • Medications
  • High fever allergies
  • Mold allergies
  • Latex or certain touched substances
  • Sinusitis allergy

If you suffer from allergies and you haven’t established the type yet, you have to make blood analysis and discover the problem, so you can act on time and save yourself from further suffering.

9.Nail Color

Girls usually have yellow nail color if they persistently nail polish them, without at least 2 days pause between polishing.

Nails are supposed to be pink, so if yours are transforming into any other color category, speak to your doctor to determine the problem.

Sometimes, odd looking nails might be a sign of fungus infection or lymphedema.

They may also be:

  • Yellow
  • Brittle, dry and cracked
  • Clubbing
  • Have white spots
  • Have vertical and horizontal ridges
  • Spoon nails
  • Dark discoloration

It is a necessity to determine the cause of aforementioned issues and consult a doctor if needed.

10.Low Libido

If you have lost the desire to be naughty between the sheets for a prolonged time, it’s maybe a sign to talk to someone.

Having a low libido can be totally normal, but it can also be caused by hormone imbalance, depression or high blood pressure.

Counselling is always the best for the matter.

11.You Are Not Being Regular In Toilet

Constipation is something many people experience, but if it is a regular problem, you definitely need to do something about it.

Conditions like depression and hypothyroidism can slow down the body’s normal processes, but poor high-fiber diet and not drinking enough water can contribute to this issue.

Other causes include:

  • Anal fissure
  • Bowel obstruction
  • Colon cancer
  • Colon narrowing
  • Rectal cancer
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Spinal cord injury
  • Stroke

12.Food Cravings

When you experience strange foods cravings, it could be a sign of an iron, magnesium or vitamin C deficiency. Other symptoms include that you may be dehydrated, have nutritional deficiencies, hormonal issues, emotional issues.

These might be occasional, and it is good to pay attentions when they emerge.

As you can see, sometimes harmless symptoms may be announcement to some bigger health issues, therefore, know your body well by observing it thoroughly.

Read the signs your body is showing and try to know your body well.
